Step 1: Create or Log in to Your TikTok Developer Account
- Go to the TikTok for Developers website.
- Click “Sign In” and use your TikTok account credentials.
- Once signed in, click “My Apps” from the top menu.
- Click “Create App” to start a new app for your BrickGPT connection.
Step 2: Set Up Your App
- Fill in your App Name, App Icon, and a short Description.
- Under Platform, select Website.
- Enter your Website URL — this should be your BrickGPT website or redirect link.
- Add your Privacy Policy URL and Terms of Service URL (if required).
- Click Create to finish setting up your app.
Step 3: Configure Your App Permissions
- From your app dashboard, go to “Products” or “Permissions”.
- Enable TikTok Login Kit — this allows users to sign in and connect their accounts.
- You can also enable TikTok Content Posting if you plan to schedule or post videos through BrickGPT.
- Click Save Changes when done.
TikTok may ask you to submit your app for review if you enable posting or advanced permissions.
Step 4: Get Your App Credentials
- In your app dashboard, go to “App Info”.
- Copy these details:
- Client Key (sometimes called App Key)
- Client Secret
- Under Redirect URI, add your BrickGPT callback URL (the page users are redirected to after login).
- Click Save.
Step 5: Connect TikTok to BrickGPT
Now that you’ve got your keys ready:
Copy all the keys and head to your BrickGPT account under “Social Media Settings” → “Add TikTok Account”
Fill all the respective fields accordingly and save to proceed.
Step 6: Approve the Connection
- Once you click Connect with TikTok in BrickGPT, you’ll be redirected to TikTok’s login page.
- Log in and authorize BrickGPT to access your TikTok account.
- You’ll be redirected back to BrickGPT — and your TikTok is now connected! 🎉
